P&T Mentoring Workshops
The Office for Faculty Affairs is pleased to offer P&T Mentoring Workshops each spring. These annual workshops are open to faculty from all parts of the university seeking promotion and/or tenure. It is also open to Unit Executive Officers (UEOs), Associate Deans, mentors, senior faculty serving as P&T Preparers, and others involved in the P&T process. Each workshop encompasses all disciplines and faculty from any discipline may attend any session. A workshop for underrepresented faculty is also provided.
The workshops are designed to help faculty members in their plans to seek promotion and/or tenure, and will include a review of the relevant promotion and tenure processes. They will cover topics including theĀ Mid-Probationary Review, preparing the dossier, research expectations, teaching, and service. Speakers include the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, members of the University P&T Committee, as well as, other senior faculty members.
