Faculty Retention and Exit Surveys
Introduction
UIC is one of many universities participating in a broader effort to understand and improve the experiences of faculty members. As part of this effort, UIC partnered with the Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE), which conducts independent research in higher education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education since 2005. UIC is committed to doing all it can to use findings to make UIC a better place to work for all faculty. Feedback from faculty is important in helping us to attract and retain the best and brightest scholars and educators.
UIC and COACHE are committed to the integrity of this survey and to safeguarding privacy. The survey is completely confidential and is handled through the COACHE project team. Privacy is maintained in all published and written data; anonymity is ensured in the broad, summary analysis that COACHE shares with UIC.
