Each year, we recognize outstanding faculty achievements at the Faculty Awards Ceremony and Reception. To ensure that we celebrate the accomplishments of as many faculty members as possible, we accept submissions of prestigious and highly prestigious national and international (non-UIC) awards on an ongoing basis.
Submission of National & International (Non-UIC) Awards
If you receive a prestigious national or international (non-UIC) award between the dates of August 1, 2025, and July 31, 2026, we ask that you complete the submission form below by Friday, September 25, 2026.
UIC Awards Review
Space and time considerations require us to limit recognition at this event to prestigious and highly prestigious awards. If you are unsure of whether your award will meet the criteria, please review the examples below.

Annual Faculty Awards Ceremony & Reception
The Faculty Awards Ceremony & Reception event is hosted annually by the Office of the Provost & Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs.
Faculty are recognized for UIC Distinguished Professor, University Scholars, Award for Excellence in Teaching (AET), Teaching Recognition Program (TRP) Award, Graduate College Mentoring (GCM) Award, Faculty Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award, Community Engagement Award, Global Engagement Faculty Award, Interprofessional Teaching in Action Matters (I-TEAM) Award, and prestigious national and international (non-UIC) awards.
