Appointment Types and Appointment Processing Heading link

Policies in this section pertain to faculty hiring, contracts, agreements, recruitment, retention, and additional appointments to current ones. The range of policies include requirements for hiring tenure system, non-tenure, and faculty administrative positions, recruiting under-represented faculty and dual-career academic couples/partners, and appointing distinguished professors, named chairs and professors, and for summer employment.

Policies in this section pertain to faculty educational, paid, and unpaid leaves. Policies include requirements for sabbaticals, educational leaves, and leaves of absence without pay.

Probationary Period Heading link
