Welcome to Faculty Affairs!
It is our privilege to work to support UIC’s faculty at all stages of their careers, from recruitment to retirement, and the office serves all faculty appointments in every college across UIC’s three campuses.
Our services include appointment and leave processing, promotion and tenure, and faculty labor relations. We offer several programs focused on Career Development for Faculty and Faculty Administrators, Awards and Recognition Events, and the Student Evaluation of Teaching Program.
Finally, we work to support the personal development of faculty members by supporting their relocation to Chicago through dual hiring, community engagement, and work-life balance programs. If you have any questions please contact us!
