An event hosted annually by the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs.
Faculty are recognized for UIC Distinguished Professor, University Scholars, Award for Excellence in Teaching (AET), Teaching Recognition Program (TRP) Award, Graduate College Mentoring (GCM) Award, Faculty Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award, Community Engagement Award, Global Engagement Faculty Award, Interprofessional Teaching in Action Matters (I-TEAM) Award, and various prestigious external awards.

Faculty members are recognized across nine categories: the Award for Excellence in Teaching; the Teaching Recognition Program; the Graduate College Mentoring Award; UIC Distinguished Professors; University Scholars; the Faculty Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award; the Community Engagement Award; the Global Engagement Faculty Award; the Interprofessional Teaching in Action Matters Award; and major awards from external agencies and societies.
To each faculty member being honored, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your contributions to our students and our university. The work you do elevates the profile of UIC, while also serving our students and the public good.
