The Chancellor notifies P&T Candidates of recommendations to the BOT, regarding Promotion and/or Tenure.
Friday, May 20, 2022Colleges electronically submit appropriately signed and executed Mid-Probationary reviews to Faculty Affairs, by uploading them into the appropriate Mid-Probationary Review folder in Box. Additionally, all Senior Rank Promotion submissions (Reporting Form & Dean’s Endorsement Memo), in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, must also be submitted via Box.
Mid-to-late June 2022HRFE transactions for non-reappointment of faculty with tenure code “2”–“6” being issued a Terminal Contract for AY 22-23, due in HR and list of names sent to OFA. If the faculty resigned, submit a copy of the resignation letter to HR and OFA (with list). A deadline notification will be sent from HR in June.

Thursday, December 8, 2022 (TBC)P&T University Committee Organizational Meeting with the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs, Dean of the Graduate College, and Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs.
Monday, January 9, 2023Deans/Coordinators submit documents for all P&T Candidates. The dossier forms should be uploaded to the P&T College folders in Box.
Mid-to-late January, 2023Human Resources Front End (HRFE) transactions for the non-reappointment of faculty with tenure code “1” due in OFA. E-mail notifications will be sent from OFA in January with the deadline date once set by the Board of Trustees (BOT).

Friday, March 17, 2023University P&T Committee submits its recommendations to Provost/VCAA, VCHA and DGC.
Thursday, March 23, 2023P&T Case Review with Provost/VCAA, VCHA and DGC.
Friday, March 31, 2023 (TBC)P&T Committee Debriefing Meeting with the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs, Dean of the Graduate College, and Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs.
Friday, April 7, 2023The Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs, and Dean of the Graduate College submit recommendations to the Chancellor and notify Deans of the recommendations.

Appeals of recommendations, along with supporting documentation must be made to the Chancellor by 5:00 PM on Monday, 4/17/23.
